WITHERSPOON RED-FACED ABOUT HALLOWEEN COSTUME
REESE WITHERSPOON will be picking her Halloween parties with care after turning up to one celebrity bash as the only adult in costume.
The actress loves fancy dress and used the 2006 kids party to show off her Sally costume from Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Xmas.
But when she arrived, Witherspoon realised she was the only grown-up who was dressed up.
She recalls, "There were some famous people there, like Michael Douglas and Cindy Crawford… They were looking fabulous and like themselves. The guest of honour was Bono." Witherspoon was left red-faced when the U2 rocker asked to speak to her, and she had to pass.
"I said, ‘Tell him I’m a big fan.’"
