BROWN IN SOLITARY

Rapper FOXY BROWN has been sentenced to solitary confinement in prison after getting into a brawl and failing to comply with inmate regulations.
The hip hop star will be spending 76 days in a segregated cell after violating prison rules on New York City’s largest jail facility, Rikers Island.
According to the New York Post, the 28-year-old got into a fight with another inmate, was verbally abusive to staff and refused a random drug test.
Brown - real name Inga Marchand - was sentenced to serve a year behind bars last month (Sep07) after a New York judge ruled she had violated the terms of her probation.
The rapper was previously sentenced to three years probation and anger management classes for assaulting two nail salon stylists over a $20 (£10) manicure. Brown had argued self-defence.
