LYNCH LAUNCHES MEDITATION CAMPAIGN
MULHOLLAND DRIVE director DAVID LYNCH has joined forces with Sixties popstar DONOVAN to launch a campaign to teach London children to meditate in classrooms.
The 61-year-old has donated millions to the David Lynch Foundation for Consciousness-Based Education and has already converted 20,000 American schoolchildren to the twice-daily practice.
He says, "The technique of transcendental meditation has seen a drop in stabbings, violence, depressions, suicides and the use of illegal drugs in some of the worst schools in the U.S. you can imagine."
