DITTO REQUESTS SPANDEX FOR PRINCE’S TRUST GIG
Singer BETH DITTO is set to shock PRINCE CHARLES when she performs at an upcoming Prince’s Trust concert - in skin-tight spandex. The rotund Gossip frontwoman, known for her flesh-baring stage performances, horrified fashion designer Christopher Kane by requesting he use spandex for her costume at Thursday’s (18Oct07) Fashion Rocks ceremony at London’s Royal Albert Hall.
Though Ditto, 25, was prepared to curb her trademark stripping antics for the British royal, she was not about to take orders from Kane.
She says, "I found out the hard way that fancy designers don’t like to use fake materials."
