Actress/director JULIE DELPY has slammed her ex-boyfriend and 2 DAYS IN PARIS co-star ADAM GOLDBERG as a "hateful man".
Delpy and Goldberg dated for 18 months and when the former lovers met again on the movie’s set in her native France, things didn’t go smoothly between them.
She says, "I don’t want to see him anymore, he’s a hateful man.
"He despised Paris. I had chosen a very nice hotel for him in St-Germain-des-Prés, but he was complaining all the time.
"He’s a very good actor but a man with many problems." Until recently, Goldberg had been dating actress Christina Ricci, but that romance is now over.

SIR ANTHONY HOPKINS is returning to his native Wales to throw himself a 70th birthday party on New Year’s Eve (31Dec07) - and the Oscar winner is inviting childhood friends he hasn’t seen in 65 years.
The Silence Of The Lambs star, who now lives in California, is also inviting Welsh celebrities including Catherine Zeta Jones, Tom Jones, Shirley Bassey and actor Michael Sheen to the lavish bash.
But Hopkins admits he’s mostly looking forward to meeting up with his childhood chums.
He says, "I’m going back to Wales to see people I haven’t seen for 65 years kids I used to play with in the street, my little girlfriends.
"I saw them (girlfriends) recently just to make sure I’d remember them and I recognised all of them. We had a lunch for them in south Wales and sent out invitations and they came with their husbands.
"It was amazing, I recognised all of them. It was great to see them all again."

ANNA NICOLE SMITH’s long-serving bodyguard has accused the tragic actress/model’s companion and lawyer of harassing him over photographs of the dead star.
Moe Brighthaupt is considering taking legal action against Howard K. Stern and his attorney Lin Wood after claiming the pair has started a public smear campaign against him.
Brighthaupt insists he is not the one currently distributing photos of a naked, vomiting Smith to media groups - something Stern went public about during a recent appearance on CNN chat show Larry King Live.
Brighthaupt, aka Big Moe, tells U.S. news show Access Hollywood, "He’s (Stern) gotten on TV and called me a thief and a liar. (He said he) knew I was distributing pictures that should have never been taken in the first place of Anna.
"It’s gotten to the point, where I had to say something. I’ve been called a thief and that angers me… I’ve been harassed.
"Lin Wood and Howard (have been) sending threatening letters." Brighthaupt was the bodyguard who attempted to revive Smith after she was found dead in a hotel suite in Florida in February (07).

Osmond reveals he sought out the King Of Pop’s advice after his own pop career had petered out and he was broke.
The Puppy Love singer recalls, "(He said) change your name, your name is poison." Osmond says his career was turned around by a savvy promoter, who released Soldier Of Love in 1988 without revealing the ’70s heart-throb was the singer.
The hit became a favourite of theatre impresario Andrew Lloyd Webber, who then hired Osmond to front his musical Joseph & The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat on Broadway.

The Aussie Oscar winner was spotted at a recent gathering of Amma followers in Sydney.
Devotees of Amma - real name Mata Amritanandamayi - believe hugs have healing qualities and help desperate people overcome illness and depression.
Kidman reportedly showed up unannounced at Sydney’s Subud Hall with a devotee of the sect - and stayed at the meeting with another 80 people for two hours.
A bystander says, "She listened intently, smiled frequently and seemed very relaxed." Amma is believed to have hugged 30 million people since fronting the sect 30 years ago.

JERRY O’CONNELL’s attempt to serenade REBECCA ROMIJN with a VANESSA WILLIAMS song at their summer (07) wedding backfired when a horrified Williams took the stage to finish the number off in style.
Romijn admits her Ugly Betty co-star Williams did the right thing - because romantic O’Connell was "butchering" her Save The Best For Last hit.
She says, "Jerry did something very sweet. He decided to sing a song called Save The Best For Last by Vanessa Williams - who happened to be one of our wedding guests.
"Let me tell ya, he butchered the song and she came in at just the right moment and saved the day and finished the song. It was a magical wedding moment, it was a really special moment.
"I also learned that that’s how you get famous people to sing at your wedding - You make a fool of yourself and butcher one of their songs and they will (perform)."

EVA MENDES tried to talk her way out of a masturbation scene that opens her new film, WE OWN THE NIGHT - because the idea of watching herself moan and groan on a big screen terrified her.
Mendes did everything she could to change director James Gray’s mind about the "uncomfortable scene", which she actually shot at the end of filming - but he insisted that’s how his movie should start.
She says, "I remember being so scared that morning and really trying to stall, but I just had to do it. Usually you feel that ticking time bomb but that morning it was a couple of hours of me and Joaquin and James just talking.
"I was talking in circles and trying to get out of it. I just talked myself into an oblivion and did it.
"That was the last scene we shot and we had three months of history together, which really helped. The scene is erotic but it comes from a place of love."

American celebrity chef ANTHONY BOURDAIN has hit out at TV rival RACHAEL RAY for endorsing a doughnut firm.
No Reservations presenter Bourdain is outraged Ray has become the new face of Dunkin’ Donuts, likening the deal to selling hard drugs to kids.
He fumes, "She’s hugely influential, particularly with children. And she’s endorsing Dunkin’ Donuts. It’s like endorsing crack for kids.
"I’m not a very ethical guy (and) I don’t have a lot of principles, but, somehow, this seems to me over the line.
"Juvenile diabetes has exploded, half of Americans don’t have necks, and she’s up there saying, `Eat some f**king Dunkin’ Donuts. You look great in that swimsuit - eat another doughnut! That’s evil."

Actress SANDRA OH and SIDEWAYS filmmaker ALEXANDER PAYNE have finalised their divorce, two years after they split.
The former couple has taken two years to settle their finances - Oh was seeking spousal support, which Payne was unhappy with.
Their marriage officially ended on 22 December, 2006, and court documents obtained by website People.com show Oh and Payne finally settled all outstanding issues on Thursday (18Oct07).

Actress TARA REID has dismissed reports she was hospitalised as a result of alcohol abuse earlier this month (Oct07).
The American Pie star was said to have checked into the Centinela Freeman Regional Medical Center in Marina Del Ray, California for a nine-day stay to undergo tests for liver damage.
The reformed Hollywood wildchild was discharged at the weekend (13Oct07), according to U.S. reports Doctors worked around the clock to diagnose the 31-year-old, who checked into the Marina Del Rey medical centre in a distressed state. They discovered she had elevated liver enzymes.
But Reid has denied the reports, insisting, "I’m fine."

LATEST: Supermodel LINDA EVANGELISTA’s publicist has denied reports her baby’s father is SALMA HAYEK’s fiance.
Internet reports which surfaced on Wednesday (17Oct07) suggested French businessman Francois-Henri Pinault, 45, fathered both Hayek’s new daughter and Evangelista’s one-year-old.
But aides for Evangelista insist the rumour started as New York newspapers began to speculate about the father of the model’s son, Augustin, around his first birthday (11Oct07).
Evangelista’s agent Didier Fernandez says, "Not true. She has never said who the father is."

British royal PRINCE HARRY has been caught on camera snorting vodka, prompting experts to predict the 23-year-old has an alcohol abuse problem.
Shocking stills from a video in the new issue of U.S. tabloid the Globe show Harry drinking, spitting and then snorting alcohol up his nose during a trip to Namibia a year ago (Nov06).
And experts tell the publication it’s the sort of thing only an alcoholic would do - to get a faster hit.
Dr. Robert Perkinson, who runs the Keystone Treatment Clinic in South Dakota, was among those presented with the pictures.
He weighs in, "It’s a totally irresponsible thing to do. When you snort a substance, you’re trying to get higher faster." Another alcohol abuse expert, Dr. Aldo Morales - an addiction specialist fears for Harry’s health.
He adds, "This is an extremely dangerous and potentially debilitating practice that could cause permanent brain damage.
"It’s like playing Russian roulette because when you snort alcohol, it goes straight to the brain."

Comedian JOEY BISHOP, the last remaining member of FRANK SINATRA’s infamous Rat Pack, has died. He was 89.
Bishop passed away on Wednesday (17Oct07) night at his home in Newport Beach, California.
According to his publicist and longtime friend Warren Cowan, Bishop died of multiple causes.
The Rat Pack - Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., Dean Martin, Peter Lawford and Bishop - became a showbusiness sensation in the early 1960s, regularly performing shows at the Sands Hotel in Las Vegas.
Bishop starred in Rat Pack movies Ocean’s 11 (1960) and Sergeants Three (1962).
The Rat Pack became increasingly unfashionable in the mid-1960s, although, by the late 1990s, the troupe was back in vogue - a revival headlined by Brad Pitt and George Clooney’s Ocean’s 11 remake. Bishop was the last Rat Pack star alive - Lawford died in 1984; Davis Jr. in 1990; Martin in 1995; and Sinatra in 1998.
Born Joseph Abraham Gottlieb in The Bronx, New York in 1918, he went on to adopt the name Joey Bishop to use onstage.
Following an apprenticeship as a funnyman in vaudeville and nightclubs, Bishop spent three-and-a-half years in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Aside from his involvement with the Rat Pack, Bishop also appeared in two comedy television series, both called The Joey Bishop Show. He went on to host his own talk show in 1967.
Bishop married Sylvia Ruzga in 1941; the couple remained together until her death in 1999.
He is survived by his actor son Larry Bishop.

TIMBALAND and KANYE WEST have lost the U.S. pop chart battle with SOULJA BOY for yet another week after the rapper’s CRANK THAT (SOULJA BOY) hit scored a sixth week at number one.
The hip-hop anthem saw off a challenge from Britney Spears last week, but her Gimme More slips from three to six on the new Billboard Hot 100 countdown.
West, who spent a week at the top with Stronger after briefly toppling Soula Boy last month (Sep07), holds on to the number two spot, while Timbaland’s Apologize jumps up a spot to three.
Alicia Keys’ No One climbs up four spots to number four and singer/songwriter Colbie Caillat’s Bubbly rounds out the top five.
The highest debut on the new chart belongs to country star Sara Evans - her As If enters the countdown at number 74.

Country star TOBY KEITH has recorded his first Christmas (07) TV special.
The Beer For My Horses hitmaker’s one-hour festive show will premiere on 24 November (07) on U.S. cable channel CMT and run throughout the holidays.
Taped in Nashville, Tennessee, the show features Keith performing Christmas classics like Winter Wonderland and I’ll Be Home For Christmas.
Guests include Jewel, who joins the singer/songwriter for renditions of The Christmas Song and Go Tell It On The Mountain.
Keith released a two-CD holiday album, A Classic Christmas, on Tuesday (16Oct07).

TUPAC SHAKUR’s former bodyguard has revealed he was an undercover FBI agent during his time with the slain rapper.
Speaking at the launch of new documentary Tupac Assassination: Conspiracy Or Revenge? in Los Angeles on Tuesday night (16Oct07), David Hackie confessed he was an informant for the Federal Bureau Of Investigation, who became an agent while serving the rapper and other labelmates at Death Row.
Hackie has been a leading force in the investigation of Shakur’s death - in 2004 he alleged that Death Row Records officials offered a police officer $25,000 (£12,500) to kill rap rival Notorious B.I.G.
Both Shakur and Notorious B.I.G.’s murders remain unsolved.
Hackie has also claimed that Death Row founder Suge Knight masterminded the Shakur slaying - because he owed the rapper millions in unpaid royalties.
The bodyguard was speaking during a question-and-answer session after a screening of the film, which addresses conspiracy theories into Shakur’s 1996 death.
