EVERETT: MY CRUSH ON FIRTH

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 8:38 pm

Actor RUPERT EVERETT once harboured a secret crush - on movie rival COLIN FIRTH.
Gay Everett, 48, realised he was falling for Firth on the set of 1984 movie Another Country, the film that launched a bitter 23-year-feud between the pair.
At the height of their mutual loathing Everett once branded Firth "a ghastly guitar-playing red-brick socialist who was going to give his first half-million away to charity".
However, the pair recently kissed and made up after appearing together in a new St. Trinian’s remake.
He says, "I fancied him at the beginning and then, after about two days I thought, ‘Oh no, maybe he is competition and I hadn’t noticed.’ So I tried to freeze him out."
