STYLIST DUKE BACK AFTER CANCER BATTLE
Celebrity stylemaker RANDOLPH DUKE has returned to the Los Angeles high fashion scene after secretly battling prostate cancer.
The once in-demand designer opened Los Angeles Fashion Week on Monday (15Oct07) after taking a break from the catwalk world to fight a health crisis.
He reveals, "I had cancer for two years… I had my prostate removed. With younger guys like me it’s best to take it out because the chance of a recurrence is much, much less." And he admits his cancer fight gave him the chance to take stock of his life and the crisis helped him curb his once-famous quick temper.
He adds, "You can always change, it’s never too late."
