GRIFFITH BLAMES ALCOHOLISM ON GENES
Actress MELANIE GRIFFITH insists her past addiction to drugs and alcohol was hereditary.
The 50-year-old began taking cocaine and binge drinking as a teenager - but Griffith believes she was only tempted because of her genes.
She says, "It’s not something that you choose, it’s genetic and it’s really strong.
"You just can’t get enough. Your own will cannot stop it."
