REALITY STAR DALTON SUES BONADUCE FOR ALLEGED ASSAULT
LATEST: American reality TV star JON DALTON is suing former PARTRIDGE FAMILY child star DANNY BONADUCE, alleging the red-headed actor and radio host assaulted him.
Officials at the Los Angeles district attorney’s office refused to file charges against Bonaduce after he threw former Survivor star Dalton - aka Jonny Fairplay - over his shoulders onstage at the Fox Reality Channel Really Awards on 2 October (07).
They concluded there wasn’t enough evidence to charge Bonaduce with battery.
But Dalton, who claims he lost teeth when he was dropped on his face, is calling the Bonaduce attack "an unjustified and surprise assault".
In his lawsuit, Dalton, who was presenting at the event when Bonaduce leapt to the stage, claims, "Instead of immediately calling an ambulance to care for (me) or taking other action, the defendants - the television channel, the producers and the owner of the venue hosting the event - did nothing." Fairplay is suing for battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, negligence and negligent supervision.
