HASSELHOFF HOME AFTER RELAPSE
LATEST: DAVID HASSELHOFF has checked out of Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles after suffering a relapse in his bid to kick alcoholism over the weekend (06/07Oct07).
The Baywatch creator reportedly checked into Cedars-Sinai on Tuesday morning (09Oct07) and left the hospital later the same day.
New reports suggest Hasselhoff was admitted to the hospital for alcohol poisoning - after a booze bender.
Hasselhoff’s representative Judy Katz says, "He went home last night and is doing fine." Before his release, Katz explained, "David had a brief relapse and immediately recognised the importance of addressing it with the assistance of his doctors." Hasselhoff decided to address his alcohol abuse issues earlier this year (07) after his teenage daughter caught him on camera slurring his words while eating a hamburger during a drunken episode on the floor of Las Vegas hotel suite.
Meanwhile, Hasselhoff’s ex-wife Pamela Bach has offered her support to her troubled former husband.
Bach says, "I wish David the best. I just hope he gets better."
