BLUR RULE OUT REUNION
LATEST: British rockers BLUR have officially ruled out plans for a reunion despite enjoying a lunch date earlier this month (Oct07).
Bassist Alex James recently lifted fans’ hopes for a reunion after admitting all four bandmembers - including guitarist Graham Coxon, who quit in 2002 were meeting to discuss a possible comeback.
But in an official statement, James, Coxon, Dave Rowntree and frontman Damon Albarn denied they are to release any new material in the near future, saying: "In light of recent press speculation, blur.co.uk would like to confirm that Alex, Damon, Dave and Graham met for an enjoyable lunch on Monday, but there are currently no other music plans for Blur."
