KITE RUNNER ACTOR FORCED TO FLEE COUNTRY

The family of a 12-year-old boy who appears in a rape scene in a controversial Afghan film has been forced to flee the country.
Ahmad Khan Mahmidzada plays a boy who is raped by a bully in the forthcoming film.
But the scene has caused so much controversy in the actor’s native country the film’s production company Paramount Vintage has arranged for Mahmidzada and two other actors families to live abroad.
Mahmidzada confirms he is to live in the United Arab Emirates later this month (Oct07).
