HILL CREDITS HOFFMAN FOR BIG BREAK
SUPERBAD star JONAH HILL credits DUSTIN HOFFMAN for giving him his big break after impressing the Hollywood legend at a poetry session.
The funnyman was at an open mic poetry night when he was spotted by Hoffman who promptly put him in 2004’s I Heart Huckabees.
Hill says, "There was this bar in New York that did open-mic poetry but they were all super serious and dark. I found them funny so I’d write fake poems but pretend they were real.
"Dustin saw them, liked them, said he’s put me in a movie. And he did."
