BASEBALL ACE RODRIGUEZ’S WIFE PREGNANT
Baseball superstar ALEX RODRIGUEZ has two reasons to celebrate after announcing his wife CYNTHIA is pregnant as his New York Yankees plan a run for the sport’s World Series.
The Yankees third baseman’s spouse is expecting to give birth next spring (08). The couple already has a two-year-old daughter, Natasha.
Rodriguez tells People.com, "Cynthia and I are overjoyed to announce this addition to our family. We realise what a special gift children are, and feel very blessed to welcome our second child." Rodriguez’s Yankees secured a place in baseball’s play-offs last week (ends28Sep07).
