TEENAGE LENNON IMAGE UNEARTHED

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 5:38 pm

A rare photo of a teenage JOHN LENNON has been unearthed after it was hidden in a cupboard for 50 years.
The 1958 image, which shows the 17-year-old former Beatle hanging out with childhood friend Nigel Walley on Liverpool’s Lime Street, was discovered by BBC show Inside Out North West.
Walley feared he would never see the photo again after believing it was stolen from his brother’s school desk.
He says, "It’s very emotional for me seeing this photo again after all these years. John was a very good friend of mine.
"One thing I know John would have loved, was seeing this photograph. It’s something I’ll always treasure now." Lennon was shot dead by Mark Chapman in 1980.
