CONNERY BEATS FORD IN AGED ACTOR VOTE
SIR SEAN CONNERY has beaten his movie son HARRISON FORD to claim the Favourite Over-60 star in a new online poll.
Movies.com asked fans to vote in a series of categories for the website’s second annual Readers’ Poll Awards - and filmgoers picked Connery over his Indiana Jones & The Last Crusade co-star as their favourite aged star.
The website’s visitors also picked Johnny Depp as their favourite actor and Kate Winslet as their favourite actress.
Hit TV show Heroes was voted the TV Show You Want To See On The Big Screen and Carrie Underwood claimed the quirky American Idol Most Likely To Next Star In A Movie prize.
The Lord Of The Rings: Return Of The King was named Favourite Movie and the film also claimed the Favourite Soundtrack honour.
Other highlights include Hottest Upcoming Male (Daniel Radcliffe); Hottest Upcoming Female (Emma Watson), and Funniest Movie (The 40-Year-Old Virgin).
