RAMSAY: ‘BRITISH FOOD BETTER THAN FRENCH’
British chef GORDON RAMSAY is on a mission to prove his food is better than his French counterparts by opening an all-British restaurant in Paris.
The F-Word star hopes the opening of the new restaurant next spring (08) will end speculation British food is bland.
He says, "I’ve had a belly-full of the French coming over here and telling us how s**t our food is. We have cheese on toast and they have croque-monsieur.
They just have posher names."
