Country star BILLY RAY CYRUS and actress MARISKA HARGITAY are encouraging American office workers to wear denim on Friday (05Oct07), to raise money for a breast cancer charity.
Cyrus and Hargitay are ambassadors for Friday’s Lee National Denim Day, which encourages workers to ditch their suits and wear jeans to work instead - for a $5 (£2.50) donation.
Proceeds from Lee National Denim Day will go to the Women’s Cancer Programs Of The Entertainment Industry Foundation.
Cyrus says, "There aren’t many of us walking this planet who don’t know someone affected by this disease."
