PISTOLS TO PLAY LOS ANGELES CLUB SHOW
Punk icons the SEX PISTOLS will warm-up for their Brixton Academy reunion concerts in London by performing a low-key invite-only show in Los Angeles.
Founding members John Lydon, Steve Jones, Paul Cook and Glen Matlock will play their first ever club show in L.A. when they perform at the Roxy on 25 October (07).
The concert will be co-sponsored by Indie.103.1 - the radio station which features Jones as a DJ - and video game Guitar Hero III: Legends Of Rock, which features a re-recorded version of the Pistols’ Anarchy In The U.K.
The fan-only gig comes in advance of three shows at the Brixton Academy in London in November (07), which sold out in 15 minutes.
The Pistols have since added another show at the Brixton Academy and one in Manchester to cope with demand.
All the shows coincide with the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the 1977 release of Never Mind The Bollocks Here’s The Sex Pistols.
