Legendary jazz musician MIKE OSBORNE has died. He was 65.
The saxophonist passed away after a battle with lung cancer on 19 September (07).
Osborne enjoyed a successful career on the British jazz scene, working with musicians such as Michael Gibbs, Mike Cooper and Stan Tracey, before he was gradually handicapped by mental illness in the late 1980s.
He was divorced from wife Louise and the couple had no children.
