Diddy says the best perfume is the smell of ‘human’.
The rap superstar revealed at the New York launch of his new women’s fragrance Unforgivable Woman he doesn’t believe people should wear any bottled scents. When asked what the perfect perfume is, Diddy said: ‘Human! You shouldn’t be showered in anything — a little of your own sweet-and-sour is the best mix.’ The hip-hop mogul took over a Manhattan townhouse in the Upper East Side for the launch party. Star guests included soul legend Aretha Franklin, Jay-Z and his girlfriend Beyoncé Knowles.
When asked to give an example of an unforgettable woman Diddy replied: ‘That’s easy, it’s Kim.’ The 37-year-old confirmed he had split from long-term girlfriend Kim Porter – who he has three children with – in July this year but has since been seen with her in public.
Meanwhile, Diddy was furious when his TV commercial for Unforgivable Woman was deemed too racy to be aired and was ordered to be cut by TV censors.
In response, the rapper, real name Sean Combs, released an extended version of the film - which shows him erotically kissing a woman in a stairwell – on the internet.
