SYSTEM OF A DOWN frontman SERJ TANKIAN has taken aim at America’s leading censors by calling his new band THE FCC.
The rocker insist the letters don’t stand for the Federal Communications Commission, but for something that organisation will fine you for if you say it on air.
He tells Blabbermouth.net, "The FCC in the U.S. stands for the Federal Communications Commission, which is the governmental body that assigns penalties for cuss words.
"I thought it would be great to make the FCC a cuss word, that way they can penalise themselves. So the FCC is, our interpretation, is the Flying C**ks of Chaos."
