Actor CHRISTIAN BALE was terrified about working with RUSSELL CROWE on new movie 3:10 TO YUMA because of his hellraising reputation.
Bale met the Australian Oscar winner for the first time on the set of the western and was surprised to find Crowe was a "pleasure" to work with.
The Welsh actor says, "We’d never met before and whenever people asked me what I was doing next and I said I was going to be working with Russell, they looked at me and said ‘You’re going to be in for a rough ride with him.’ (But) it was truly a pleasure."
