BABYSHAMBLES PREPARE FOR LIFE WITHOUT DOHERTY
BABYSHAMBLES are determined to record as many songs as possible in case troubled frontman PETE DOHERTY gets sent to jail.
Doherty has had a string of court appearances relating to his drug troubles and despite claims he has finally kicked his addiction, the band are preparing for the worst.
Drummer Adam Ficek says, "We obviously hope Peter won’t be sent down but we can’t take any chances.
"We do have a lot of extra tracks to do, and the sensible thing is to record them now when we can definitely be together." The band’s second album, Shotter’s Nation, is released next month (Oct07).
