PITT IN TALKS TO PLAY WAHLBERG’S BROTHER IN BOXING FILM
BRAD PITT is set to replace OCEAN’S THIRTEEN pal MATT DAMON in a new movie about Boston, Massachusetts boxer `IRISH’ MICKEY WARD.
Pitt is reportedly in negotiations to play Ward’s brother, Dick Ecklund, in the film, Fighter, which will star Mark Wahlberg as the fighter.
Ecklund, himself a talented fighter who sparred with champs like Sugar Ray Leonard, turn his back on a life of crime to help his brother claim glory in the ring. Damon was originally slated to play Ecklund.
