Wrestler-turned-movie star DWAYNE ‘THE ROCK’ JOHNSON is taking a break from action movies because MATT DAMON has set the bar too high after his JASON BOURNE films.
Johnson was tipped to become the next Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger when he started his movie career with The Mummy franchise and spin-off The Scorpion King, but he admits action films have become a little lame and the scripts have to be better.
He says, "I love action movies but with what Matt Damon was able to do with the Bourne series and how kick-ass those movies were, he raised the bar.
"Whatever material comes in, if it’s not that, then I’m not doing it. That’s the goal."
