SIMPSON ROBBERY VICTIM WAS ARRESTED LAST WEEK
The victim of O.J. SIMPSON’s alleged sports memorabilia robbery was arrested the day before the raid.
Alfred Beardsley was picked up by police in Las Vegas last week (12Sep07) for a parole violation.
On Thursday (13Sep07), Simpson and five associates reportedly raided Beardsley’s suite at the Palace Station Hotel & Casino in Sin City.
The collector and memorabilia dealer claims two of Simpson’s posse drew weapons and forced him and a business partner to hand over items like signed baseballs and photographs at gunpoint.
But a local Las Vegas TV network has learned Beardsley was arrested by a fugitive task force at the Luxor Hotel.
Authorities have told the Fox affiliate that Beardsley was wanted on a California warrant for a parole violation.
He was taken into custody without incident and is being held pending an extradition hearing to send him back to California.
