JUDGE DISMISSES ZSA ZSA GABOR LAWSUIT AGAINST HER DAUGHTER
Ailing actress ZSA ZSA GABOR has lost her two-year civil court battle with her daughter CONSTANCE FRANCESCA HILTON.
Gabor and her husband Prince Frederick Von Anhalt filed suit against Hilton in June, 2005, accusing the socialite of fraud and elder abuse, and accusing Hilton forging her mother’s name to a real estate finance document.
A Los Angeles Superior Court judge threw the case out on Wednesday (19Sep07), claiming Gabor’s accusations were full of hearsay and was inconsistent with the representations made in the original court papers.
Hilton’s spokesman Edward Lozzi tells WENN, "This was a very emotional and highly charged lawsuit with a tremendous amount of sadness for all." Lozzi claims Gabor’s ill-timed leg surgery was the last straw for the judge.
He adds, "The alleged surgery performed on Zsa Zsa Gabor’s legs was conveniently booked for the same day she was supposed to appear in court. That did not sit well with the judge." Outside court, a distressed Hilton said, "I want to get on with my life.
These past two years have been stolen from me because of these malicious and untrue charges." Gabor, 90, reportedly underwent surgery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on Tuesday (18Sep07) after contracting a "severe infection in her legs".
