JAMELIA IS JEALOUS OF WINEHOUSE
British pop star JAMELIA is jealous of chart rival AMY WINEHOUSE’s success and critical acclaim.
Winehouse has quickly overtaken Jamelia as the U.K.’s number one female solo artist, and the R&B star confesses she’d love to trade places.
Jamelia says, "Of course I’d love that acclaim. I think any artist would love to have what Amy has and to gain that kind of respect.
"I like her, she has a good album. Although I’m sure all the hype surrounding her helps. I hope she gets well soon - it’s a shame. But her music speaks for itself." Winehouse recently underwent a brief spell in rehab following allegations of drug and alcohol addiction.
