MADDEN WILL WED MUM-TO-BE RICHIE
GOOD CHARLOTTE star JOEL MADDEN has confirmed reports he plans to marry his pregnant girlfriend, NICOLE RICHIE, but he has no ideas where or when.
The couple announced they were set to become first-time parents on U.S. TV in July (07) and Madden has since hinted he hopes to ask Richie to be his wife.
He says, "Obviously, marriage is in our future. I don’t know when or where or how, but right now our priority is our family and the baby.
"That’s all we’ve been thinking about. We are in love and are really happy." And the rocker admits he can’t wait to become a dad: "It’s the best thing that has ever happened to us. It’s awesome." Madden reveals he and The Simple Life star are waiting to find out the sex of the child, but they already have a name - sort of.
He explains, "We call it ‘the baby’."
