KANAN ENTERS NOT GUILTY PLEA TO DUI CHARGE
Actor SEAN KANAN has pleaded not guilty to charges of driving under the influence in relation to his arrest in Los Angeles last month (Aug07).
The Karate Kid star, 40, faces the misdemeanour DUI charge and one count of driving with a blood-alcohol level higher than the 0.08 per cent limit after he was pulled over by local authorities on 18 August on suspicion of drink driving.
Kanan was not required to appear in court on Monday (17Sep07) and instead was represented by his attorney at Hollywood Superior Court.
This is not Kanan’s first run in with the law - he was previously convicted of a DUI in 1998, reports TMZ.com.
