HIGH WINDS FORCE SILVERCHAIR & POWDERFINGER TO SCRAP TENT SHOW

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 4:03 am

Rock acts SILVERCHAIR and POWDERFINGER were forced to scrap their joint show at the Ballarat Showgrounds in Victoria, Australia on Sunday (16Sep07) over safety concerns.
The Antipodean groups were scheduled to take to the tented stage on their Across the Great Divide tour when promoters noticed high winds had tore a large hole in the canvas.
Local weather officials had issued a severe wind warning earlier in the day.
Promoters hope to reschedule the show for Monday (17Sep07).
