50 CENT BLASTS DEF JAM FOR ‘RIGGING SALES’

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 1:06 am

Rapper 50 CENT has blasted KANYE WEST’s record label Def Jam for doctoring sales figures in his battle with the hip-hop star.
Both stars released their respective third albums on Tuesday (11Sept07); a move which prompted 50 Cent - real name Curtis Jackson - to declare he would retire if the Stronger star sold more albums than him.
But Jackson insists bosses at West’s record label have rigged the count of sales.
Jackson says, "He’s never had a fraction of the sales 50 Cent has. They could have one scan and have it count four times.
"West’s entire career hasn’t sold half what I sold on my first album."
