O.J. SIMPSON ROBBERY VICTIM SPEAKS OUT

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 4:10 am

LATEST: The man who alleges he was robbed by O.J. SIMPSON has revealed the sports star and his "posse" pretended to be customers who wanted to buy memorabilia when they raided his hotel suite.
Sports memorabilia collector Alfred Beardsley claims Simpson took charge of a heavy-handed raid on his hotel suite in Las Vegas on Thursday night (13Sep07).
Beadsley alleges guns were drawn after he welcomed Simpson and his five associates into his room at the Palace Station Hotel & Casino, believing them to be memorabilia buyers.
He tells TMZ.com that he understood the group was interested in buying the suit Simpson wore the day he was acquitted of the murders of his ex-wife Nicole and her friend Ron Goldman in 1994.
Beardsley tells TMZ.com Simpson "took control of the situation," saying, "You guys have stolen my property." The collector claims Simpson and his posse cleared the hotel room of all Beardsley’s memorabilia items, including signed photographs and baseballs.
The alleged victim adds, "I was directed at gunpoint to pack the items up.
"We didn’t have the suit there, thank God, because, if the suit was there, it would have been taken as well." Initial reports suggested Simpson and his associates broke into the suite, but the controversial star has said, "I took memorabilia that belonged to me…
but I didn’t break in." Simpson, who maintains the items taken were stolen from a storage locker owned by his late mother, claims no one was "roughed up" in the "sting operation" at the Palace Station.
He says, "What I can’t understand is these guys are in a room trying to fend stolen goods and I’m the story." Las Vegas Police officials confirm Simpson is helping them with their investigation.
