A four-year-old boy shocked US police when he jumped out of a car they were towing away.
The repossession crew hooked the Ford Excursion sport-utility vehicle - parked illegally outside a house - and began driving at a slow speed when the boy opened the back door and jumped out into a construction area.
The truck did not stop until a colleague in a car behind them called to say someone had fallen out of the vehicle.
The child was treated for minor injuries at a nearby hospital.
No charges were filed against the two men driving the repossession truck, who insist they did check the back seat but did not see the minor stowaway.
The car had been parked outside the home while the driver was picking up another child.
