Former BOND girl DENISE RICHARDS’ publicist has acted quickly to rubbish a new magazine expose, in which a former nanny claims the actress is a moody ‘Jekyll and Hyde’ character.
In a new U.S. magazine article, the unnamed child minder claims the actress, who is now divorced from ex-husband Charlie Sheen, sleeps with 14 dogs, guzzles coffee she imports from Hawaii and changes from pleasant to unpleasant in an instant.
But Richards’ spokeswoman Jill Fritzo has jumped to the actress’ defence, insisting, "The story is untrue." The former nanny alleges Richards is prone to "temper changes," adding she’s "irritable" and "can’t focus." She tells the Star, "In the morning, she’s sweet and friendly, but… by one o’clock, she seems wired and confused. She changes plans from one minute to the next.
"She’d tell me, ‘(Daughter) Lola needs to sleep at this time,’ and then changes her mind. She’d tell me to pick up the kids at school and then say, ‘I’m going to go, I have the time.’" The claims come at a bad time for Richards, who is fighting with her ex over custody of their two young daughters.
Sheen has accused his ex of spying on him by employing her assistant as the children’s nanny and insisting she accompanies the kids when the actor and his new fiancee, Brooke Mueller, spend time with them.
The Platoon star is now hoping to land better custody terms that will allow him to hire his own nanny.

THE HOLD STEADY rocker CRAIG FINN is going back to college to pass on his musical knowledge to eager students.
The U.S. frontman will return to his alma mater, Boston College in Massachusetts, on 25 September (07) to "talk about his life, career and music" in an informal conversation with Professor Carlo Rotella.
The master class will be free and open to the public, according to Finn’s post on the band’s website.

A spy tells PageSix, "When a cocktail waitress walked over to her with a bottle of Svedka, her eyes lit up.
"She got kind of nervous when they wanted her to take a photo, and wouldn’t pose with the bottle - but then her assistant asked a promoter to send a case to her house." JOHNNY CASH is to be pardoned four years after his death.
The A Boy Named Sue singer will be officially pardoned by officials in Starkville, Mississippi at The Johnny Cash Flower Pickin’ Festival later this year (Nov07).
The festival’s executive director Robbie Ward organised a petition for the pardon - which collected 500 signatures.
Cash was arrested and locked up in a cell for one night in May 1965 for picking flowers from somebody’s garden, inspiring him to write the song Starkville City Jail which he famously performed at San Quentin prison in 1969.

The Oscar-winning actress - who has two sons, Dashiell, five and three-year-old Roman with husband Andrew Upton - is moving to her native Australia for the sake of her family, and says when she moves she will work a lot less.
Cate – who will be a co-director of the Sydney Theatre Company with Andrew when she relocates - said: "Dashiell’s five now. He needs to be settled and I respect that. ‘Believe it or not, I’m pretty good at just doing nothing. I’m either sitting very still or running very fast.’ Cate also says she is keen to add to her brood in the near future.

The ‘Harry Potter’ star - who spent his 18th birthday watching an England cricket match with friends - plans to celebrate in style when he reaches the landmark age.

Las Vegas nightclub boss Jeff Beacher wants the two ex-husbands of Pamela Anderson to battle it out in a winner takes all match, following their minor scuffle at the MTV Video Music awards on Sunday (09.09.07).
Beacher said: ‘We all know that they are fighting over Pam Anderson. What better way to settle their differences then to slug it out in the ring!’ Despite being at the centre of the disagreement, Pamela doesn’t want to get involved in the feud.

The Hollywood actors – who starred together in the critically acclaimed ‘Fight Club’ in 1999 – will team up again in new political thriller ‘State of Play’.
Norton will play a congressman whose speedy political rise is threatened by an investigation into the death of his mistress, while Pitt will star as his journalist friend Cal McCaffrey.
The pair’s friendship is tested to the limit when the reporter begins investigating the scandal.
As well as uncovering a high-level political conspiracy which implicates Norton’s character, McCaffrey also develops a close relationship with his friend’s estranged wife.
The film is based on the British TV series of the same name, and will be directed by Kevin MacDonald, who was responsible for ‘The Last King of Scotland’.
‘State of Play’ is scheduled to go into production in November, once Norton has finished shooting ‘The Incredible Hulk’, in which he plays genetically mutated Dr. Bruce Banner.
Pitt’s latest movie is the epic western ‘The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford’.

The majority of the 5,000 acres surrounding the queen’s royal Berkshire residence, Windsor Castle, fall within a 6-mile radius of an Egham farm currently at the centre of a new outbreak of the highly contagious viral disease which effects cattle, and the area has been closed off for surveillance.
The queen regularly enjoys horse rides and walks her corgi dogs on the estate, know as Windsor Great Park, which is also the home of the Guards Polo Club, where Prince William and Prince Harry are frequent competitors.
However, all horse riding permits have now been suspended and the polo club has also been closed until further notice.
A spokesman for the park said: ‘No horse riding will be permitted in the park until further notice and all dogs must be kept on leads in the areas where public access is still allowed. That is the rule and it will apply to everyone.’ The queen is currently staying at her Scottish residence, Balmoral, where she will remain until next month, but the ban is still expected to be in place when she returns.
The Crown Estate, which administers the land, has also been forced to close the deer park and two farms on the estate, which boast 400 cattle, 2,000 pigs and 6,000 hens.

The princess, who is married to Crown Prince Frederick, has given her name to the Mary Foundation, which will encourage tolerance of diversity and help those who are socially isolated.
Speaking at the announcement of the charity at Copenhagen’s Amalienborg Palace on Tuesday (11.09.07), Mary said: ‘The Mary Foundation will be an exciting and rewarding addition to my current work as Crown Princess. ‘I strongly believe that every individual has the right to belong to a community and to know that there are people who understand them and are concerned for their wellbeing.’ The foundation has already secured $16.8 million of money, with the initial $244,000 donated by the people of Denmark and Greenland at Mary’s 2004 wedding to Frederick.
The princess intends to publicly present the foundation’s opening initiatives at the beginning of next year.

The elderly princess - the aunt of King Gyanendra - lost her long battle with cancer on Wednesday (12.09.07).
The royal, who was in her 70s, had three children with her late husband, Prince Vasundhara, and she is survived by two daughters, Princess Jyotsna and Princess Ketaki. Her other daughter, Princess Jayanti, was killed in the tragic Nepalese royal massacre in 2001, when Crown Prince Dipendra went on a killing spree at the Narayanhity Royal Palace.
Princess Helen was a businesswoman who owned the five star Hotel de l’Annapurna, a travel agency and a resort in Pokhara, Fishtail Lodge.
Two years ago, she was named in a financial scandal, which saw royal commission funds being used to pay for her medical treatment abroad.
The incident was one of many scandals that contributed to the royal family’s downfall.
The unpopular monarchy are now facing abolition, as all major political parties are backing their disposal ahead of the country’s November elections to create a body to rewrite the constitution and decide on whether the royal family should stay or go.

LATEST: ANNA NICOLE SMITH’s longtime companion HOWARD K. STERN has blasted reports of a sex tape documenting his alleged gay affair with LARRY BIRKHEAD as "absolutely absurd".
The rumours emerged after U.S. journalist Rita Cosby made the allegations in her tome Blonde Ambition: The Untold Story Behind Anna Nicole Smith’s Death, claiming the late model’s two former lovers had been caught having sex on camera.
But Stern insists the reports are all based on "false information".
He tells Entertainment Tonight, "Most of these… sources to Rita Cosby’s book, they were doing media after media interview after Anna passed away and they took every shot at me that their imaginations could possibly dream up.
"And all of a sudden, the same people are coming back and they’re saying, ‘Oh by the way, I forgot… Howard and Larry are gay and there’s a video of them together.’ It’s ridiculous. I mean it’s absolutely absurd.
"That woman Rita Cosby is either the dumbest person on earth or she knows that she’s printing false information. And I don’t think she’s the dumbest person on earth." And Stern is worried about the impact the rumours will have on Smith and Birkhead’s one-year-old daughter Dannielynn when she is old enough to understand the allegations.
He adds, "Dannielynn is gonna read this garbage and it’s almost like she’s going have to get counselling from the age of three." Photographer Birkhead is already preparing to sue Cosby and the book’s publisher over the accusations.

Rapper 50 CENT has hit back at KANYE WEST for criticising BRITNEY SPEARS’ lacklustre performance at the MTV Video Music Awards, insisting the hip-hop star should not take out his anger on the troubled singer.
West recently slammed MTV’s decision to let Spears open Sunday’s (09Sep07) awards ceremony ahead of himself, claiming the Toxic hitmaker was "not ready" to make her pop comeback.
But 50 Cent believes West is just jealous of all the attention Spears has been receiving.

"Kanye expressed that he felt that Britney shouldn’t be actually opening the show - almost like he forgot that Britney Spears sold 50 million records. She did.

Model/actress CARMEN ELECTRA has hit out at paparazzi complaints over the photo restrictions at a recent appearance at New York Fashion Week, insisting her request was "not unusual".
Electra, who posed sexily on a metal hoop suspended above the runway for the 2(x)ist fashion show on Tuesday (11Sep07), was criticised by snappers for giving all her photography rights to one picture agency - threatening other unauthorised paparazzi with a $25,000 (£12,000) fine if they took her photo.
But Electra insists her contract clause was normal practice in the industry.
Her spokesperson tells the New York Daily News, "Carmen is known for being very gracious to photographers.
"It is not unusual to request approval over photos being shot of a performance, and we requested the (lensmen) who Carmen was most comfortable with. The media was invited backstage to interview and shoot Carmen after the performance." The sole rights for video footage of her performance were signed over to Wire Image while stills were handed to Michael Simon, the brother of Electra’s manager, Stephanie Simon.
Other snappers were limited to taking pictures of the underwear models who walked in the show.
