GROHL: ‘ROCK STARS SHOULDN’T BE IDOLISED "

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 8:36 pm

FOO FIGHTERS frontman DAVE GROHL wants his fans to stop idolising him insisting there are more people in the world deserving of the accolade.
The former drummer for 1990s grunge band Nirvana can’t understand why rock stars are so revered.
He says, "We played a show recently for a bio-engineering company. We met the man who invented synthetic insulin. He basically saved millions of people’s lives by reinventing that drug. He is the kind of dude who deserves a medal not some drunk onstage wearing eyeliner and selling 10 million records. "What we do isn’t changing the world."
