DAVISON: ‘RADCLIFFE TOO YOUNG FOR DR. WHO’
Former DR. WHO star PETER DAVISON disapproves of plans to cast DANIEL RADCLIFFE in the hit TV show, fearing the young actor will turn it into a mockery.
Davison - who was 29 when he took on the sci-fi role in the 1980s - claims the Harry Potter star is too immature for the role and will attract too young an audience.
He says, "What’s wrong with there being an older doctor? I don’t think that such a young man would be a good idea - it might end up like a children’s show."
