SHAW REAPS BENEFITS OF NEW FEET

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 8:06 am

Singer SANDIE SHAW is reaping the benefits of having surgery on her misshapen feet - she gets the best seat in restaurants. The Puppet on a String hitmaker recently underwent corrective surgery to beautify her unsightly feet and has been ordered by medics to use a wheelchair and crutches during her recovery.
But Shaw has been taking advantage of her new transport.
She says, "(British supermarket) Waitrose is a dream. You hitch on a special trolley and then you can whiz around and everyone jumps out of your way, mostly from fear. "It’s also fantastic being wheeled in front of the queue at airports. "And I found (the crutches) have their advantages. One hot evening our favourite pizza restaurant was packed to a hilt. As soon as the owner noticed me on my crutches he came rushing up, frantic with concern, offering apologies and the best seats overlooking the fountain. Job done!
