McCARTNEY DONATES GUITAR TO CHARITY

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 8:45 pm

Rocker SIR PAUL McCARTNEY has donated a 10-foot (three metre) tall guitar sculpture to charity.
The former Beatle signed the towering Gibson Les Paul at London’s South Bank on Wednesday (12Sep07) for the Gibson Guitartown campaign, which raises money for British charities The Prince’s Trust, Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy and Teenage Cancer Trust.
The hand-painted guitar will be sold as part of an auction being held in London in November (07).
Other rock legends who have lent their names to the exhibition include Gary Moore, Rod Stewart, Brian May, Paul Rodgers, Robert Plant, Mark Knopfler and Ozzy Osbourne.
