3:10 TO YUMA DEBUTS AT TOP OF U.S. BOX-OFFICE CHART
Western 3:10 TO YUMA has sharp-shot its way to debut at the top of the U.S.
box-office chart over the weekend (07-09Sep07).
The remake, which stars Russell Crowe and Christian Bale, lassoed a haul of $14.1 million (£7.05 million), knocking last week’s number one, Halloween, down to two with takings of $10 million (£5 million).
Falling a place to three is comedy Superbad with $8 million (£4 million), while Balls Of Fury also drops a position to four with $5.69 million (£2.85 million).
