LAURA BUSH’S NECK OPERATION HAILED ‘A SUCCESS’

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 6:09 pm

An operation to relieve pressure on U.S. First Lady LAURA BUSH’s neck has been hailed as a success.
The wife of President George W. Bush underwent surgery on Saturday (08Sep07) on a pinched nerve in her neck, while her husband was travelling back from an Asia-Pacific summit in Sydney, Australia.
Sally McDonough, Laura Bush’s spokesperson, confirms the First Lady,"underwent a successful posterior cervical foraminotomy to relieve the pressure on the pinched nerves in her neck", and is now "resting comfortably." President Bush adds, "Her spirits are good. They feel like the surgery was a success. She’s now back at the White House.
"I told her I’d be home soon, and I’m just grateful that the doctors did a good job. And I thank God for the fact that it came out well."
