GERE CRITICISES ‘BAD’ BUSH

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 6:12 pm

RICHARD GERE is still stunned his fellow Americans voted in President GEORGE W.
BUSH for a second term in the 2004 election.
The liberal actor criticised the U.S. premier alongside Bosnian Serb fugitive Radovan Karadizic at the Venice Film Festival in Italy earlier this week (ends07Sep07).
Gere says, "How do these people (such as Karadzic) become leaders? In my own country, how did we elect (President George W.) Bush twice? How is this possible? "What’s interesting to me is how do the bad people among us end up our leaders?"
