David Schwimmer will always love ‘Friends’ because it made him a millionaire.

The TV star - who played geeky palaeontologist Ross Geller in the hit US TV show for years - doesn’t mind always being associated with that part because it made him so much money.
Schwimmer told Britain’s Daily Telegraph newspaper: ‘I’m often asked whether ‘Friends’ has been an albatross around my neck, or whether people only see me as ‘Ross from ‘Friends’, but I don’t ever think negatively about it.
‘Really, that show has been a blessing. It’s given me the financial freedom to choose the projects I really want to do.’ The 39-year-old actor has spent a lot of time in Britain since ‘Friends’ ended, but admits he has, regrettably, never seen the UK capital’s sights.
Schwimmer has starred on the West End stage and has just directed Simon Pegg in new comedy ‘Run Fat Boy, Run’ but hasn’t had much chance to go out because he is always working.
He said: ‘You’d think I’d know Britain really well now, but I’ve not had time to explore, because I’m always working. I guess, I get my kicks from work.’
