Pointless pilgrimage

Posted in: Bizzare Stories — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 5:45 pm

A German man drove his tractor 700 miles from Germany to the British factory where it was made - only to find it had been knocked down.
Wolfgang Mueller, 65, left Stuttgart and travelled at 30mph through Luxembourg and France while towing a caravan, before catching a ferry at Calais.
When he finally reached the spot in Coventry where the Massey Ferguson factory had been based, he saw rows of houses instead.
Wolfgang insists it hasn’t been a wasted trip because he plans to spend a week or so touring Britain.
He added: "I’ll make my way home via Paris. I want to park my tractor in front of the Eiffel Tower."
