LETTERMAN TO APPEAR ON OPRAH
Beloved U.S. TV host DAVID LETTERMAN will make television history in America next month (Sep07) when he sits for his first interview on OPRAH WINFREY’s daytime talk show.
The two TV titans ended a decade-long feud in 2005 when Winfrey appeared on Letterman’s late night chat show.
Letterman, who rarely appears on other TV shows, will tape his Oprah interview when Winfrey’s Chicago, Illinois show hits Madison Square Garden in New York for a week.
The TV heavyweights’ feud was sparked when Letterman poked fun at Winfrey on his show in the 1990s. She then turned down an appearance on the funnyman’s programme, explaining his quips had made her feel "uncomfortable".
