KINKS STAR LOBBIES GOVERNMENT

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 8:45 pm

Former KINKS star DAVE DAVIES is pleading with local government chiefs in England to end plans to destroy a road made famous by the band.
London’s Camden Council are planning on building on Little Green Street, which was used as a backdrop to their promo movie Dead End Street in the ’60s.
But Davies has strongly objected to the proposals and is petitioning the local authority.
He says. "It would be such a great shame because it’s such a unique little area. It’s like walking into the past."
