KHAN AWAITS HEARING
LATEST: Bollywood bad boy SALMAN KHAN will plead with an Indian judge to release him from jail during a hearing on Thursday (30Aug07).
The actor has been jailed for five years for killing an endangered species while shooting a film in India’s Rajasthan state in 1998.
Earlier this week (26Aug07) a judge rejected a bail plea and ordered the request to be heard by another judge.
On Thursday, the Rajasthan High Court will decide whether or not to release Khan on bail pending an appeal against his sentence.
