McCARTNEY: ‘I’M NOT USING KANGAROO LEATHER’

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 4:09 am

LATEST: Designer STELLA McCARTNEY has hit back at misleading press reports that suggest she’s using kangaroo leather in her new Adidas shoes.
Longtime animal right activist McCartney was horrified when British tabloid reports about her links to the sportswear chain were misconstrued as the story spread around the world.
Although Adidas has a history of using kangaroo leather in their products, McCartney insists she won’t be using any leather in her shoes.
McCartney’s spokesman Stephane Jaspar says, "Stella McCartney is a lifelong vegetarian and committed advocate of animal rights and doesn’t use any leather or fur in any of her collections.
"All the accessories designed in collaboration with Adidas are made with alternative to leather: high performance fabrics, which don’t use any animal by products including kangaroo leather."
