DUTT’S RELEASE LANDS PRISON GUARDS IN TROUBLE

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 2:03 pm

Troubled Bollywood actor SANJAY DUTT’s early release from jail may have cost nine prison guards their jobs after they hugged him in jubilation.
The star, 48, who was sentenced to six years behind bars for illegal possession of weapons linked to the 1993 Mumbai bombers, was granted interim bail on Thursday (23Aug07).
He was greeted with hugs and handshakes from starstruck prison guards on his release.
However prison officers at Yerwada prison in Pune, India, are being investigated after a senior politician saw TV footage of the incident.
Dutt will have to return to the prison next month (Sep07) when his temporary bail runs out.
